Entombment

Entombment is the interment of a casket in a sealed crypt. A mausoleum is a building of many crypts available for above ground burial.

Pomona Valley Memorial Park has a beautiful mausoleum which is offered as an alternative to ground burial. The crypts can accommodate 1 or 2 caskets. Occasionally, a crypt is used for the entombment of a cremation urn, instead of in a niche, which is specifically design for an urn.
